Forest Conservation Strategy v1
EverForest’s forest strategy is based on increasing biodiversity, protecting rare and valuable species, and
maintaining forest properties primarily as a natural community and habitat. The strategy is based solely
on the welfare of nature and animal species, not economic benefit.
Key points of the forest strategy
- All logging is prohibited, except in Force Majeure cases – for example, removal of storm damage. In
other respects, we interfere as little as possible in the activities of nature/animals. - Hunting is prohibited on EverForest forest properties, and a corresponding notification will be sent to
the local hunting association. - People are allowed to stay in the forest 24 hours a day, except in cases where this should significantly
worsen the situation of flora and fauna. - Forest properties are monitored regularly (at least once a year) by both remote monitoring and
physical site observation.
